In the fall of 2002, I was given the awesome task of establishing and overseeing the registration process for our 1st Annual Texas Drug Court Conference. In an attempt to work smarter and not harder, I enlisted the effort of Michael Oyedokun, Jr., a programmer. Once Mike came on board, the registration process became quite simpler. Not only did he provide us with a tool by which the registrants were able to register online, he also established a program that captured the registrant information, sending it to my email address, and the tools necessary to print the badges.
